Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs 2: The Magic Cutlass - Meet the pirates!

With 2 sold-out shows already under the belt of our dastardly pirates we decided to ask our swashbuckling cast what it’s like to be a part of Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs 2: The Magic Cutlass!

Patrick Warner who not only plays the brave Tom, but also flys the flag of the Pirate Dinosaurs was the first to answer our questions:

Q: Which character in The Magic Cutlass do you think you’re most like and why?

A: I'm most like Tom, because he thinks carefully about everything and tries to make the clever choice, regardless of how appropriate the moment is for contemplation.

Q: What do you love most about your character?

A: I love that Steven the Stegosaurus is making the best of being a vegetarian in adverse circumstances.

Q: What’s the most exciting thing about ‘Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs 2: The Magic Cutlass’ for the audience?

A: The Pirate Dinosaur Captain is straight-up the most exciting thing ever, never mind just for the audience of the show!

Next on our hunt to meet the pirates we chatted to Rosie Nicholls, who brings to life the quick thinking Pearl:

Q: If you could only take one thing to a desert island, what would you bring?

A: I would 100% take a dog to a desert island - I don't know if that's allowed - but I LOVE dogs and I would never be lonely if I had a little pooch to keep me company! Failing that, I would take a water bottle - gotta keep hydrated out there.

Q: If your character could only bring one thing to a desert island, what would they bring?

A: Pearl would definitely take a bag of practical items with her to a desert island - penknife, compass, spoon, pen and paper, sunhat - instead of anything luxury. She's got smarts and would always plan ahead for anything she might need.

Q: If you were a pirate for a day, what would you do and why?

A: If I was a pirate for a day, I would set sail on the high seas, recruiting all the girls who always wanted to be pirates, and we would plunder the most treasure and sail the fastest and be the best pirates the world has ever seen!
